NYE FIREWORKS

Canberra welcomes New Year with an explosion of a spectacular fireworks display in the city centre. Four vantage points for the state-of-the-art fireworks are listed below:

  • Civic Square: The square will be in party mode, presenting all ages concert with fantastic live local and national bands performance.
  • Garema Place: There will be a dance party that shows the best local and national performers.
  • Lake Burley Griffin: Here you can see the fireworks along the shores of the iconic Lake Burley Griffin and a number of spots around the lake.
  • Commonwealth Park: Located on Lake Burley Griffin with a great view of the display
