Five NEW things to see at The Show..

Kristen Henry

It’s here again, the ACTEWAGL Royal Canberra Show!

I’d usually say: we know the drill. My day looks like: a whip around on the Cha-Cha, grab the dagwood dog, pat the Alpacas and stock up on the Freddo frog showbag before you head home.

What if I told you there’s NEW things that HAVE to make your list? Buckle up, here are the top five new showstoppers at the Show!

Think paintball minus the bruises. You’ll stalk your friends through an inflatable obstacle course, and blast them with colour via your nerf blaster. This one is new to the show and Australia.

Bigger and better Fireworks are promised this year, as a finale on Friday and Saturday night. They’ve even choreographed the show to music for an extra bang.

Ute Muster

Move aside Summernats, there’s a brand new Ute Muster in town where your favourite B&S, Work, Feral or Classic will be on show for you to drool over. Or BYO if you’ve got one of these lying around at home.

Federation Guard

This will be spectacular; Australia’s Defence force official tri-service ceremonial unit will whip through their drills including weapons. We’re talking a troupe of over 60 servicemen and women showing us what they can do.

Heritage Park

If the kids think milk comes from the fridge rather than the cow, give them a lesson on where things come from and how things used to be made. There’s wool spinning and blacksmithing amongst other things, done the old fashioned way.
