Celebrate more than 100 years of Mother’s Day with an elegant High Tea at Historic Albert Hall.

Indulge in a selection of hot and cold and sweet and savoury delights that will be sure to tempt the taste buds, with sparkling wine, coffee, tea and cold beverages. Enjoy the tunes from the grand piano and be mesmerised by the ballroom dancers, before taking to the floor yourself.

MOTHER’S DAY CLASSIC

For the active Mum’s the Mother’s Day Classic is the best day to start off your celebrations. Spend the morning getting some fresh air and exercise with a range of running and walking options. There will also be some fun activities on the day including roving performers, food court, free massages and entertainment for the kids. Options include either a 5km walk or a 5km run and 10km run.

Zeus Street Greek Canberra City is celebrating Mother’s Day in true Greek style with plenty of food to share and a complimentary wine spritz to get the festivities started. 

The menu is made for sharing, and includes classics such as fluffy pitas with a trio of dips: beetroot hummus, eggplant and tzatziki, and the signature lamb pita. Newer additions include the Australian inspired Otto Chicken, which combines chicken schnitzel tenderloins with Aegean slaw, preserved lemon mayo, caramelised onions, sweet chilli and coriander. The feta and oregano chips are also a firm favourite with family and friends, and this time the well fought over last chip must go to mum!
