It’s official: the ACT has Australia’s best ribs

Canberra restaurant, Mills and Grills Pizzas, has been awarded the title of Australia’s Best Ribs Grill in the Menulog 2018 Summer Restaurant Awards.

Located in Florey, Mills and Grills’ menu covers a range of cuisines from traditional pizzas to steaks, but its award-winning dish is the ribs trifecta of slow-cooked meat in a smokey BBQ sauce with a side of crispy seasoned chips.

Another local gem who specialises in authentic North Indian cuisine, Mirchi, has been awarded the title of most popular Menulog restaurant overall in the ACT. Located in Ngunnawal, the restaurant is known for its flavoursome Butter Chicken, the vegetarian Daal Mahkni and Lamb Rogan Josh.

“The bi-annual Menulog Restaurant Awards continue to grow and celebrate the successes of our valued restaurant partners,” explains Menulog’s Commercial Director, Rory Murphy. “Our Summer Awards look at some of the most popular restaurants on Menulog across Australia and this year, highlight some of the best restaurants in trending categories, such as Tacos, Ribs and Mee Goreng.”
