UberEats comes to Canberra!

HerCanberra Team

UberEats is now bringing more than 70 Canberra restaurants to your door.

UberEats is launching in Canberra today, and it couldn’t come at a better time, with temperatures set to plunge to minus six degrees across the weekend.

Now you can have Pâtissez’s Banana Quinoa or 3 Degrees Coffee’s OG Bacon and Egg Roll for breakfast without sloughing off those pyjamas; Shorty’s Brisket Sandwich when you’re too busy to leave your desk; or even one of the lauded kebabs from Yarralumla Turkish Halal Pide House (without the obligatory big night).

Other restaurants delivering include Sweet Lou’s (that’s their Deep Louisiana Burger featured), Grease Monkey, Molto Italian, 10″ Custom Pizzeria, Bourbon Street Kitchen, The Bearded Bean and Space Kitchen.

UberEats Canberra will have extended hours of operation from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week.

Want to try it out? UberEats are offering free delivery on a user’s first four orders until Saturday, 19 August. Simply enter the code CANBERRA to receive $5 off your first four orders in Canberra. Check out the offering here.

Meanwhile, (coincidence or conspiracy?) a fleet of 25 Deliveroo riders will travel across the city delivering $1 dishes from four participating restaurants across four suburbs. Starting from 11am, $1 dishes (maximum of 50 per restaurant) will be available starting in Braddon and continue through Kingston, O’Connor and Manuka and surrounding suburbs. To catch the $1 deals, customers will have to track the circuit live on Deliveroo’s Facebook page to see when they are available. Deliveroo will also offer free delivery from all restaurants on the Deliveroo app across Canberra from 3pm.
