ACTIVE Week: Unbranded Sports Preparation

Unbranded is one of the most diverse strength and conditioning training facilities in Canberra.

STRONG(WO)MAN: Strong(wo)man is quite possibly one of the most easily accessible sport there is. Involving every day ‘real world’ functional movements including; carrys, pick ups, presses, pushing and pulling. The team will go through how to use the yoke, log, atlas stones, farmers carry and much more. The equipment that is used is nothing like anything else and it’s amazing to see what the body can do with it. There’s nothing quite like picking up a ground ball made from cement to make you feel like Wonder Woman!

DERBYSTRONG: For those who train/play Roller Derby. The system draws upon some of the world’s most beneficial training methods, utilising weightlifting and powerlifting techniques for strength and conditioning as well as aerobic work to help athletes improve their endurance on the track. We have designed a Roller Derby specific training system for skaters of all levels to improve skill, strength and stamina for your game.
