Kirklandd + Oxfam present FADED live in concert

Following his first national tour off the back of last year, Canberra artist Kirklandd has just announced his first headline Canberra show, presented in collaboration with Oxfam.

Having teased the track at his Canberra shows supporting Seth Sentry, Dylan Joel and The Ansah Brothers, and recent his performance at Fashfest, Kirklandd’s first headline show has been announced as part of a 3-stop tour in celebration of his new single, Faded.

Led by production from renowned Australian producer Cam Bluff (Amy Shark, Allday), Faded is an alternative take on the new wave of hip hop emerging in Australia, blurring genre boundaries to offer a unique sound from Canberra’s rapidly emerging music scene.

Co-presented by Oxfam, the show will feature performances from a number of Canberra’s strongest live acts, including Moaning Lisa, The Ansah Brothers and more, with half of the show’s profits being donated directly to the organisation:

“I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to work with Oxfam for some time now, and I’m that excited they’ve gotten on board for the tour. I think the work they do on a national and international level is invaluable, and to use the music as a vehicle to steer people in their direction is sick… it’s going to bring a strong community feel to this run of shows” – Kirklandd

Faded will be presented live in concert on Saturday 9 December at Transit Bar, with tickets here.
