Night Market Canberra celebrates its First Birthday

More stalls, more food, more entertainment and brighter lights! Night Market Canberra will be bigger than ever, this Friday 4 December at Hotel Realm in Barton.

Celebrating its first birthday, the Night Market will once again bring alive the Hotel Realm precinct in Barton with market stalls, food, music and entertainment for the kids.

Shoppers will be able to get in early for their Christmas shopping, with over 50 stalls to choose from, across all categories of fashion, food, home wares, pets and children.

All designers are hand picked by founders Natalie Weber and Marissa Christian who wanted to give shoppers a unique experience by focusing largely on high-end products with a designer appeal in a unique urban environment.

There will be plenty of music and entertainment all evening, including live music by local crowd favourites Nick Rigby and Chad Croker, as well as a visit from a spritely Christmas Elf to keep the kids entertained.

Maple+Clove will transform into a twilight bar to provide a perfect vantage point for those looking to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere away from the crowd with a Pimms, or cold beer and something to eat.

There will be plenty of tasty food to keep your energy levels up, including Vietnamese street food, Slinky Chips and pop-up stalls by Lilotang and Ostani. In addition, Lilotang, Malamay and Ostani restaurants will all be open on the night serving an array of delicious food and beverages, along with newcomer on the scene, Buvette Bistro and Wine Bar, specialising in gastronomic French cuisine.

The market will be open from 4pm until 9pm, so be sure to get down early and avoid the queues!

There is plenty of parking available at Little National Hotel, and on Sydney Avenue, Macquarie Street and New South Wales Crescent.
