Printmaking workshop

Join an experienced printmaker from Megalo Studio and Gallery for a linocut workshop, inspired by the works of artists Mulku Wirrpanda and John Wolseley on show in the National Museum of Australia’s Midawarr | Harvest exhibition.

Students will use drawings and sketches to translate an image to the lino block. They will explore various cutting methods and have the chance to use the Megalo portable press.

Ages 9 to 12, children aged 9 to 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult

Cost: $60 child, $50 Mkids and children on Friends full membership. Join Friends.

Happening Saturday 11 February from 10 am – 1 pm in the Main Hall of the National Museum of Australia, Acton. 

Note: A separate second workshop is on Sunday 18 February 2018 from 10am–1pm
