April Dwyer is a passionate storyteller originally from Canberra, Australia. Her interest in wildlife began at a very young age, leading her to undertake a Masters in Wildlife Conservation as well as several volunteer placements around the world, primarily with primate organisations.
As someone who has always considered writing a hobby, these experiences deeply influenced her creative journey and inspired her to write her debut children’s book, marrying her two passions of writing and conservation together. Through this story, she hopes to increase awareness of these forgotten apes.
