With rain expected to fall all day Saturday, here are some ideas to keep you occupied.

Market Stalls

The Old Bus Depot Markets are something of a Sunday tradition.

Why not spend some time exploring the treats on offer at the markets this Sunday. The best thing about it?… its out of the wet weather, in the protection of The Old Bus Depot located on the Kingston Foreshore. This Sundays theme is ‘Collectable Sunday’ and is sure to be a blast.

Happening January 28 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at The Old Bus Depot Markets, Wentworth Avenue, Kingston Foreshore.

Rainy Day Certified

Cinemas are the perfect hangout for those rainy days.

Rock Climbing

This activity is sure to leave you and your friends with a heightened sense of accomplishment this weekend. It’s the perfect way to escape the wet weather with the family while you enjoy some physical activity that really puts your body to the test.

Canberra Indoor Swimming and Aquatic Centre (CISAC)

Obviously, all these activities are meant to keep you dry this weekend however temperatures are still predicting to reach a high of 33 degrees. So why not take a dip indoors?                                                                                                                                               

When: Open Mondays to Fridays 5.30 am-9.30 pm, Saturdays 6.30 am-7 pm and Sunday 7 am-7 pm.

Power Kart Raceway

Looking for an adrenaline rush? Aside from karting, the centre also includes glow in the dark mini golf so if you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids for the whole day then The Power Kart Raceway has it covered.

When: Open 10 am-10 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am-10 pm Saturdays and 9 am-8 pm Sundays.
