Later in the summer, the Sri Lanka men’s team will commence their tour of Australia with a T20 fixture against the Prime Minister’s XI on 15 February 2017 at Manuka Oval. It will be the first time that the Prime Minister’s XI game will take on the fast-paced T20 format.

The spectacular beauty of autumn in Canberra is the perfect time to lift the heart rate and join in the Australian Running Festival, from 8–9 April 2017. Incorporating something for every ability, there are fun runs, a half-marathon and a full marathon. Highly trained runners can attempt the 50km ultra marathon if they dare.

Run for your Lifeline this Saturday.

Take the challenge of the MONT 24 Hour Race throughout East Kowen’s fabulous trails from 1–2 April 2017. Teams of four or six riders take turns to tackle the terrain over 24 hours of fun and comradery.

For AFL fans, Manuka Oval welcomes the GWS GIANTS for both pre-season and AFL Premiership Season games. Given the quality of footy on offer, these games often sell out across autumn and winter, so book early.

While the chill is in the air, our superstar Brumbies bring solid rugby to GIO Stadium as part of the Super Rugby competition. The green machine Canberra Raiders also fight for glory in their much-loved home games at GIO Stadium.
