Entry29: Canberra’s mini Silicon Valley

Megan Smith

Canberra is bursting with enthusiastic entrepreneurs and innovators.

However the question is: where do these entrepreneurs go to build & grow their start-up? Entry 29 is the answer.

Entry 29 is Canberra’s community co-working space where entrepreneurs can connect, create, and collaborate with other like-minded people. Co-working allows entrepreneurs to be productive and network within the one community space. It is Canberra’s best co-working space for digital entrepreneurs, however it goes beyond just that, as it’s a highly passionate community of start-ups.

Allyssa Sabbatucci and Charli Ervin, the clever creators of the MyBuzz App, are just two of the bright young female entrepreneurs that utilize the space and resources at Entry 29.

“Entry29 is more than just a great physical space to work and grow your start-up, it’s an ecosystem of innovation that brings together brilliant minds, passionate individuals and support systems all in the one spot to inspire and nurture tomorrow’s innovations,” says Community Manager James Leonard.

Not quite sure about what Entry 29 has to offer, or have a start-up but not completely sure how to build the venture?

Come along On Friday 16 of October for Entry 29’s Open Day. They are opening their doors for the afternoon and inviting you to come along and experience Canberra’s best co-working space.

Kylie Bretag, marketing and events manager at Honkytonks,  is one of the powerful young women working and collaborating within the space. “I enjoy working at E29 because it provides a variety of spaces for me to work in a collaborative environment,” says Kylie. “I work with a number of stakeholders and the various breakout and meeting spaces provide me with the environment to achieve positive outcomes for my clients. The ping pong table is a hit [and] so is James!”
