Fricken awesome new vendors come to The Forage

Fricken Chicken (yes, that’s their name) and a ‘shot in a bubble’ are coming to The Forage this April. 

It’s no secret that we love The Forage and their plethora of insane street food that they bring to the Little National Hotel every season. For their autumn festival this coming Saturday 7 April, they’re premiering some new vendors who are sure to impress.

Fricken Chicken will be bringing their finger licking goodness in the form of burgers, boxes and even adorable cones of deep fried goodness. Want a drink with that? How about a cold brewski from local lads Capital Brewing Co? Or, for those more adventurous, head to Sabi Beverages, who will be serving up alcohol in the bubble (yes, you read that right!). These guys have invented what they call a “shot in a bubble” with flavours such as Cheeky Cheshire, Lychee Lover and Mojito Kiss.

We took a basic idea, an ‘alcoholic shot’ and turned it into an innovative product that does not sacrifice on alcohol or flavour, the results will blow your mind,” says co-founder Rohan Thomas. “We are thrilled to announce our product launch will be at The Forage on 7 April and welcome the opportunity for consumers to try our product.”

As well as these new highlights and 35+ other stalls, there will be entertainment from Minh Hah Music, Unofficial MANA and The Faumuis. Giant Jenga, coits, cornhole and table tennis tables to keep the young and young at heart happy.

Fried Chicken Burgers, Cones and Boxes—finger lickin’ good!

Sabi Beverages

A “shot in a bubble” with flavours such as Cheeky Cheshire, Lychee Lover and Mojito Kiss—making their debut at The Forage.

Sonoma

Cult favourite bakery Sonoma will be bringing its incredible range of artisan sourdoughs to The Forage as well as muesli and pastries.

Well & Truly 

Organic, Australian, preservative free, low sugar, bottled muddled lemonade and muddled ginger beer.

Bao by Asian Tiger

Expect Asian inspired street food like soft cloud bao bun with crispy fried chicken, pulled pork, Peking duck and vegetarian options. They’ll also be serving up their handmade steamed dumplings and iced tea.

Capital Brewing Co

One of Canberra’s most delicious local brews, the Capital Brewing Co lads will be bringing crisp autumn beers.

My Sweet Alice

Alice’s adorable caravan is coming to The Forage with a sweet selection of cakes, cupcakes, tea and coffee.

Returning Vendors

Lolo & Lola

LOLO and LOLA are bringing their Filipino street food back to The Forage and they’re bringing these—Filipino twisted doughnuts ( BICHO-BICHO) with purple yam creme anglaise.

Tikka Stand

Tikka Stand returns to The Forage with their Tikka Pulao. Wash it down with a Mango Lassi—a refreshing yogurt based mango drink served chilled.

Bellerophon Coffee

Bellerophon Coffee will serving up the perfect coffee for a warm afternoon—freshly poured cold brew.

Three Mills Bakery

Stock up on delicious Three Mills Bakery goodness, like pies, sausage rolls, galettes and pizza.

Bentspoke Brewing Co.

With a forecast top of 28 degrees on Saturday, Bentspoke’s local brews will go down a treat.

The River Kitchen
