A Wedding Feast (without the boring bits)

Amanda Whitley

Everyone loves weddings.

They’re a chance to get together with friends and family, share in the happiest of occasions, dance and laugh, and (best of all) eat all the food. At HerCanberra’s upcoming bridal event—UNVEILED: The Event—you get to enjoy all the best bits of a wedding (friends, food and live entertainment) without the speeches and bouquet toss!

We’re bringing some of Canberra’s best boutique caterers together so that you can sample their wares during the afternoon’s General Session.

For those who really want to indulge in the celebratory experience, there are just a handful of tickets left to our three-course Wedding Feast (which also includes canapés on arrival and petit fours for ‘afters). Created by Broadbean Catering, this decadent menu includes matched wines from top Canberra wineries.

Boutique Caterers

Woodbrook's Grazing Tables are curated from the best regional produce.

Woodbrook’s Grazing Tables.

Travis and Stefanie are old souls of hospitality and are the masterminds behind Woodbrook. Breaking away from usual catering traditions, they create grazing tables laden with easy-to-grab handmade canapés that keep your guests both free to mingle and safe from starvation.

Grazing tables and share platters provided by Woodbrook are decorated with the finest of fresh and local produce—anything from delicate Italian and French style meats and cheeses to seasonal fruit. Not only is it a flexible, personalised catering option, but the addition of a grazing table adds a unique element for your reception that ultimately promotes the whole theme of a wedding – “bringing people together”. And the best part? No one is missed and people can graze as they please.

Mr Papa

Addicted to Mr Papa’s Chanchitos? Now you can have them at your wedding (along with a delicious assortment of other exciting Peruvian street food!).

Crafted to showcase the best choices for your special celebration, Mr Papa serves up a Peruvian food storm to gatherings from 30 up to 1000 guests at the location of your choosing.

Pialligo Estate

Their Smokehouse has one countless awards for its Gravlax, Cold and Hot Smoked Salmon, Smoked Rainbow Trout and Artisan Bacon—and you’ll get to taste their wares at UNVEILED.

If you’re seeking an exceptional gastronomic experience for your special day, Pialligo Estate offers catering services for off-site events, creating menus with seasonal and local produce.

The Pop Inn

Designed to pop up at locations around Canberra, how amazing would it be to have your own architecturally-designed wine bar at your wedding?

The Pop Inn is definitely no side door food truck—the stylish fit-out feels as luxurious as a permanent bar but can go anywhere you need it to! It is sophisticated and elegant and creates a warm and inviting ambience at any event.
