Seven Wedding Arch Inspirations

Charlotte Rickett

If you’re looking for something special for your ceremony, a wedding arch is the perfect option.

Arches are a lovely addition to ceremonies as they help define and fill the space while also enhancing the couple’s chosen wedding aesthetic. They’re also great if the couple is having an outdoor ceremony, such as in a garden or at the beach, as they can help create a sense of ‘place’ and also frame pictures wonderfully. Here are seven wedding arches to help inspire your ceremony…

FLORAL AND RUSTIC

This rustic floral arch from Storyboard Wedding is simple but elegant. The clean, sturdy lines of the arch contrast beautifully with the whimsical floral trellis, making it both masculine and feminine at the same time.

TAKE INSPIRATION FROM TRADITION

Jewish weddings traditionally include a four-poster, canopied ‘chuppah’ like this one from Huffington Post Weddings, but even if you’re having a completely non-religious ceremony, you can always take inspiration from the love and detail that goes into their creation in designing your own arch.

ULTRA MODERN

Floating metal cubes plus heavy bunches of colourful florals set the tone of this Modern Wedding celebration – both romantic and modern at the same time.

USE NATURE’S ARCHES

This gorgeous The Every Last Detail wedding found the natural arch of a willow tree to frame the nuptials AND built a second arch at the end of the aisle to create a ‘room’ for the ceremony. Genius!

This Elegant Wedding celebration was originally set to take place outdoors but with the weather against them, the bridal party had no choice but to move the ceremony inside. Luckily, their Secret Garden theme was kept alive thanks to touches like their gorgeous floral arch.

TAKE YOUR LOCATION TO THE NEXT LEVEL

The whole point of a Destination Wedding is the location, and this Marry Me wedding’s seaside theme is taken to the next level by an arch that uses seashells and sandy coloured fabrics.
