ATOMIC BLONDE

Blondes have more fun.

The crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service, Agent Lorraine Broughton (Theron) is equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission. Sent alone to Berlin during the height of the Cold War to deliver a priceless dossier out of the destabilised city, she partners with embedded station chief David Percival (James McAvoy) to navigate her way through the deadliest game of spies.

Based on the 2012 graphic novel The Coldest City, Atomic Blonde is David Leitch first solo credit as director, after co-directing John Wick with Chad Stahelski.

See what reviewers are saying:

“Atomic Blonde is a story of hidden dealings and murky agendas, but only one certainty: On the heels of her scene-stealing moments in Mad Max, Theron’s action stardom is now anything but secret.” – Eric Kohn, IndieWire

“Theron has once again crashed the action-hero boy’s club. Something tells me no one will be complaining.” – Joanna Robinson, Vanity Fair

“Theron is the hero we need right now: As devilishly self-serving and smooth as Bond, as physically dynamic and stoic as Wick, Lorraine is confidently equipped to join the legacy of great movie action heroes and she doesn’t need your permission.?” – Britt Hayes, ScreenCrush

“boasts a deceptively cunning performance from Charlize Theron, and one of the best action scenes I’ve seen in years.” – Josh Kurp, Uproxx
