River of Art Festival (South Coast)

Head down the South Coast for River of Art, the festival that lights up the coast all the way from Batemans Bay to Bermagui.

Indulge in a jam-packed weekend of arts treats from 17-20 May. Discover inspiring exhibitions and open studios.  Browse local galleries and eclectic markets. Be entertained by musicians, live performances and comedians. Festival fun continues through late May, with the River of Art Trail open until 26 May.

River of Art’s open studios invite you to go behind the scenes to meet talented local artists in the quirky and often secluded places where they work.  Find out what inspires them to create their unique artworks.

Or simply wander through our picturesque townships. Delightful pop-up galleries come to life all over Eurobodalla as artists showcase their creations in local shopfronts, cafés and businesses.

Explore paintings, pastels, sculptures, woodcarvings, photography, textiles, mosaics, jewellery and so much more. Plenty of collectables will be available to take home and treasure.

With over 100 events, there’s something special for the artist in everyone. Happening at various locations along the Eurobodalla coastline.

To check out some group exhibitions and talk with festival volunteers, visit one of the three arts and information hubs open during the River of Art festival.  Located at the Eurobodalla Botanic Garden just south of Batemans Bay, the Air Raid Tavern in Moruya, and Club Narooma.

Happening 17-20 May at a variety of locations across the South Coast. See the website for the full program and locations.
