Here at HerCanberra we like to think of ourselves as coffee experts (*cough* addicts *cough*). So like the good Samaritans we are, it seems only fair to share our knowledge with you.

We’ve put together a short and sweet list of some of the best coffee joints in Canberra that are sure to help you procaffeinate before a big day ahead.

Penny University

Inspired by the first coffeehouses in London, it’s no surprise Penny University in Kingston has amazing coffee. Sourcing beans from local roasters and serving treats until 4pm daily, this cafe ticks all the boxes. There’s always a line out the door so make sure to call ahead to book a table.

Why not try something unusual on your next coffee run? Located in Gungahlin, this new cafe boasts the classics with out of the box twists. We’re looking at the double espresso over ice, topped with house honeycomb or a white chocolate mocha.
