Do you live for a good cup of coffee? Struggle to survive without a brew or two? Need coffee in an IV?
The good news is if consider yourself a bit of a coffee connoisseur, there are 11 new cafes in Canberra for you to try.
Located all over town (and all open on different days of the week), there are plenty of choices to keep all of your caffeine cravings sorted.
Intra LNSD (Braddon)
Beloved Campbell café Intra (pictured) has brought its signature minimalism (and phenom coffee) to Lonsdale Street.
Covering breakfast and lunch—as well as early afternoon wine—seven days a week, it’s a slightly different vibe to Campbell, featuring an expansive indoor space in Intra’s signature moody palette.
“Our focus is on serving what we love in food, coffee, and wine,” says Intra Co-Founder Sean Baker.
“We believe in offering the best options done well. Nick and I wanted to explore a different type of venue to what we have done before, one that focused on more serious dishes which pair well with either coffee or wine.”
“We felt like this daytime bistro-style venue was lacking in Canberra and Braddon is a great location as it is close enough to the city but still in an easily reachable area for the suburbs.”
Taking influences from everyday life, from all over the world, the menu will be rooted in, but not limited to, European comfort food, featuring dishes such as Spätzle with beer-braised sauerkraut, lamb scotch egg, mince on toast with a mustard watercress salad, scrambled eggs with nduja butter, roasted potato with cavolo nero and anchovy, rice pudding, and specials.
