Remember that time we wrote about truffle burgers and it went completely nuts? Well, it’s happening again.
That’s right, truffle shufflers—Fun Guys Truffle Burgers (get it…fun guys…funghi…) are back for 2021!
The brainchild of Damian Brabender, Head Chef at Kingston’s Otis Dining Hall, and Jayson Mesman, Owner of The Truffle Farm, this will be the Fun Guys fourth winter operating from a converted shipping container on The Truffle Farm’s idyllic Majura estate.
This year, the truffle goodness will kick off this Saturday 19 June at 10 am and this year, there’s are a few new twists for devotees.
Firstly, the menu will include three burgers—The Big Truffle Deluxe Burger, The Southern Truffle Shuffle Burger and the Loads of Funguys Burger—as well as Funguys Chips N Gravy which includes truffled ‘corn gravy’ with truffle salt and shaved truffle. Noms.
As always, FunGuys is only open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am–3 pm until sold out (emphasis on sold out—we recommend getting there sharpish to avoid disappointment).
