Canberra January Gig Guide

Canberra’s music scene has grown a lot in recent years and some amazing bands performed in our city in 2015.

This summer looks like it will be packed with music events that will make you want to stay in Canberra. Heading to some local bars and clubs to experience the great atmosphere of independent music is a unique way to enjoy the summer nights to come.

January will be the perfect time to check out some great international bands performing at local bars and club around the heart of Canberra. There are some pretty cool gigs coming up, including a lot of local acts who regularly play at The Phoenix or The Front – click on their names for their gig line ups.

Canberra’s music scene has evolved in recent years and still has a way to go, but if you’re looking for musical education there heaps of gigs you can go to if you want to expand your music taste.
