Win one of three family passes to Skate in the City!

Canberra’s CBD will once again be transformed into a winter wonderland with the return of Skate in the City in 2015.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, Canberra’s only open air ice rink will take up residence in Garema Place as part of a dazzling winter celebration from Friday 26 June to Sunday 26 July.

This month long event will once again feature activities for the whole family including cultural events, professional performances, DJ dance parties, dress up nights, and a snow box for the younger children.

“It is the perfect event for kids during the July school holidays,” said Jane Easthope, CEO of Canberra CBD Limited, “Food and drink is available at the surrounding restaurants and cafes, with the World Curry Festival in the City providing added atmosphere from 11 to 12 July.”

“Look out for some new competitions we are running this year to increase interaction and share the fun with all our visitors.”

Two types of sessions will be on offer during this period, 90 minute sessions including a professional show by experienced skaters, and 60 minute general skate sessions.
