They are a member-based visual arts organisation, with a contemporary gallery, black-and-white darkroom, and a full education program for kids and adults of all experience levels.

Kids holiday workshops: Kids Winter Digital Photography School

Kids will learn to explore their world and get creative with digital photography in this three-day holiday workshop. Guided by experienced tutors, workshop includes short field-trips to capture images, followed by computer-based workshops to master the fundamentals of Adobe© digital manipulation software. Best of all, each child will create their own unique works of photographic art to take home.

This July school holidays the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) is celebrating big screen heroines with a program of empowering, female-driven family films for all ages.

Foodish is running its kids’ holiday cooking program during the winter holidays. The program has a health and nutrition focus, as well as teaching cooking skills. The core idea is that the kids make a healthy, age-appropriate meal for themselves to eat together, and in the process learn about the ingredients they are using and cooking techniques.

Canberra Youth Theatre (CYT) is a nationally recognised not for profit youth arts company which creates and promotes theatre with young people that is inspirational, enriching, collaborative and innovative.
