Canberra Beer Week: like you need an excuse

Calum Stenning

Do you like beer and a somewhat misleading use of the word ‘week’?

Then you’ll love Canberra Beer Week, which is a full on 10 days of beer-related activities. Whether you’re interested in the intricacies of brewing, or just like blowing the froth off a coldie, this week (and three days) has you covered.

This year will be the fourth for Canberra Beer Week, which sees the festival expand from seven to 10 days. With close to 40 events across 21 venues, the expansion is easily justified. Brewers will be traveling both nationally and internationally for the event, giving Canberra’s beer enthusiasts an opportunity to explore beers of the world without leaving the comfort of our own backyard – as if you needed an excuse to explore new beers.

Here are our daily picks for this festival of froth.
