Pâtissez shakes it up with new store

2015 has been a big year for restaurants in Canberra, but few new entrants have made a bigger splash than Pâtissez. Their FreakShakes™ went viral, garnering international attention and bringing crazy queues to the usually sedate inner south suburb of Manuka.

Now they’ve launched a new flagship store in the heart of Canberra, and  co-owner Anna Petridis says she wants the new store to be more about the customer experience and expanding the brand beyond their famous shakes.

“The new store is going to be more of an experience.  The FreakShakes™ phenomenon has gone global so we want to take our stores to the next level,” says Anna.

“We want to make our store a destination for all ages and groups to come to have fun, to see something new, a place where people want to be seen.”

The expansion into the CBD is the first step in what could be an international push, according to Anna.

“The beauty of our brand becoming so popular is that it has now made our new store even more important and necessary with our very high potential to expand our brand overseas.

“Our flagship store will be where people will come when they want to see what Pâtissez is all about,” Ms Petridis said.
