Five steps to the perfect corporate gift

Posted on
Corporate gifts are a reflection on your business; no one is going to be impressed with a standard ho-hum present.
With only 143 days until Christmas, it’s time to start shopping! Follow these five steps to make sure your business is perfectly represented.
Keep it local
Nothing say’s ‘we care about where we do business’ than making sure your corporate gift is made locally.
Don’t do ordinary
Be unique. Food hampers, business branded run of the mill promotional products, biscuits and chocolate, cheap wine. Yawn. The exception to this is anything from the amazing The Local Larder Online.
Support a cause
Create a win-win-win by making sure your corporate gift helps a local charity. You feel good, your chosen charity benefits and the person receiving your gift will know your business cares about its community.
Don’t be boring
Don’t waste your money, or mess with your reputation. Nothing good will come of giving a boring gift.
Make it easy
If you are giving Corporate Christmas gifts, make sure you receive delivery to your workplace in November. This will give you time to personalise your gift with a hand written card before you can relax knowing that you have your Corporate Christmas gifts sorted #winning.
If you are looking for a gift that ticks all of the above
May this year lay witness to the Hyatt Hotel Canberra ballroom being filled with Canberra themed cakes as a fundraiser for local charity PANDSI. Most Canberra icons were on display, including Skywhale, our iconic bus stops, Telstra Tower, Floriade, the Australian War Memorial, Kenny Koala, Hummer the giraffe, The Green Shed and many more incredible locally themed cakes.
Every cake was captured by Kerrie Brewer Photographer, and every baker (who wasn’t camera shy) had their image taken by Jennifer Minns Photography. These stunning images will be presented in a high-quality book, to be launched in November 2017.
PANDSI is working with a local Canberra publisher Prinstant who has agreed to design and print the book at a sponsorship rate. This offer ensures the sale of the book (and PANDSI Cake Off aprons, which are also available) will be used as a fundraising mechanism for PANDSI, a local charity supporting over 300 families a year experiencing perinatal depression and anxiety. Our ongoing fundraising is vital to ensure PANDSI can continue to meet the growing demand for the service while adjusting to a large rent increase, which was caused by PANDSI being required to move location.
PANDSI will be launching the 70+ page book, A4 landscape, full colour on 300gsm coated gloss stock, perfect bound and gloss cello cover in November to tie in with PNDA (post natal depression and anxiety) Week. However, bulk orders (only) are being taken now on the PANDSI website here, delivery can be made, free of charge to your workplace in November.
Canberra has many amazing local charities and a huge array of stunning #local gifts available from across our region!
HerCanberra is a proud sponsor of PANDSI
