Palace to host 30th anniversary screening of Heathers

Forget candlelit dinners—all the cool kids will be spending Valentine’s Day at the movies.
Palace Electric in Canberra will be hosting an exclusive 30th Anniversary screening of Heathers, this Valentine’s Day, Wednesday 14 February.
The 1988 cult classic features a young Winona Ryder as Veronica, as she tries to survive the social jungle of high school by sticking with the three most popular girls at school—all called Heather. As she meets a sociopath named JD, her life spirals into a continuous cycle of hate, unintentional murder and indifference, as she exacts revenge on her enemies, also known as her best friends.
Expect dark comedy, big hair and tragic eighties fashions.
Tickets for the Valentine’s Day screenings range from $10 – $17 and include a glass of La Gioiosa ‘Il Fiore Prosecco for an extra $5.
