Belconnenites, rejoice! 54 Benjamin is back!

Originally opened as a bar in 2015, 54B is modern and stylish with a menu that will suit just about anyone.

This new café is the perfect spot for a coffee, lunch or an after-work drink.

Acai Brothers

A delicious and affordable option, the newest superfood bar in the Canberra Centre is the perfect stop for a quick meal any day of the week.

Amici Bar

Amici Wine Bar & Deli brings a bright slice of Italian chic to the Melbourne building in Civic.

With boutique wines, crafted cocktails and grab-and-go food on the menu, wine pairings will be a big feature of the intimate bar. Paired with what, you might ask? Classic Italian, of course. Think gourmet meats and cheeses, antipasti, pizza and more.

As Nature Intended

Technically not a new place to eat, but a new face for a Belconnen institution.

After 19 years at the Belconnen Fresh Food Markets, As Nature Intended is moving to Fyshwick’s Dairy Road. While the move is scheduled for mid-August, there is a farewell event at the markets on Saturday 27 July where there will be entertainment, tasting and music.

The organic café and whole foods store caters to almost all dietary requirements and has a wide range of certified organic fresh produce.

Assembly

Assembly is a relaxed, easy, authentic pub where long hours eating and drinking with friends and family await.

Launching in mid-September, Sydney’s famous indulgent burger joint is unlike anything you will have experienced before.

Momo’s

Anyone familiar with the old pop-up at ANU will be glad to hear Momo’s Taste of Tibet has reopened in their new location at Tuggeranong South.Point.

Morrissey on the Boardwalk

This Art Deco-inspired café offers local wines, craft beer and spirits, as well as a daytime menu of breakfast or lunch with coffee, tea and plenty of different cakes.

Ms Ba Cô.

This one is still in ‘coming soon’ camp, but—for lovers of Ms Ba Cô’s mouth-watering bánh mì, their Civic outlet can’t come fast enough.

Due to open in August, this purveyor of über-fresh, home-style Vietnamese street food will be a welcome addition to Garema Place.

Olive at Hawker

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Olive at Hawker has reopened after the original restaurant was destroyed in an arson attack.

With food ranging from Zucchini Fritters to Grilled Pork Belly, this Mediterranean restaurant is a true suburban gem.

Ostani Bar

Your Friday night fave got fancy. Ostani Bar has just officially unveiled its brand new million-dollar makeover and it is pretty gorgeous.

An extension of the kitchen has allowed for the inclusion of a char-grill, meaning succulent grilled steaks, fish and more have been added to a new menu, while favourites like wood-fired pizza and burgers will remain a staple.

Even the cocktail menu has received a shake-up.

Piccolos

A bright little hole-in-the-wall next to Lola and Shorty’s, Piccolos is serving up Diva coffee and a range of homemade sandwiches and toasties made on Three Mills Bakery sourdough, as well as a range of sweet treats from the popular local bakery.

Pixie and Bear

With an all-day breakfast menu and lunch from 11 am, Pixie and Bear combines classic meals with a fresh new space in the heart of Casey.

An afternoon treat is also a great option here, their house-made double choc-muffins also being very easy to sneak into your day.

Sweet Little Café

Located at the Griffith shops, this café is just what its name suggests—sweet and little.

Wildflour

Espresso Room founder Michael Rose has taken the plunge and taken over Remy’s, the Fyshwick bakery that grew from the ashes of Autolyse and given it a whole new identity.

Wildflour offers all-day dining as well as incredible coffee, plus the head baker from Remy’s has stayed on board so all of your bread needs are covered.
