Estate: The Finer Things in Life
Posted on
We all know that good things come in threes. And nowhere is this more obvious than Estate, Forrest.
These prestigious new luxury apartments are right in the heart of the Parliamentary precinct, offering unparalleled views of some of Canberra’s most gorgeous landmarks.
Estate comprises of three buildings, each distinctly different but all designed to be both contemporary and elegant. The stunning landscaping ensures that natural beauty is not only uncompromised for architectural beauty, but the two actually work in harmony to create something really special.

The team behind this project (Collins Pennington Architects, Project Coordination and Addval Developments) know how iconic this area of Canberra is—from historic St Andrew’s Church to Parliament House itself—and have designed Estate to complement the surrounds.
As Michelle Dzakula, General Manager of Addval Developments explains, “More than 840 trees and 8,450 plants will create a continuation of the lush tree-lined streets that Forrest is renowned for.”
The apartments themselves have house-like proportions, allowing for the benefits of apartment living without compromising on space. There is a strong focus on quality over quantity, which is why there are only 87 apartments across the three buildings in Estate.

With North-facing views of Parliament House, these apartments feature opulent furnishings, top-of-the-range appliances and penthouse-worthy fittings.
Ranging from one to four bedrooms, every apartment has a private wine cellar with storage space for 60 bottles. And what makes this particularly unique is that the cellars were created through collaboration with Tyson Stelzer—one of Australia’s leading wine writers and critics.
Did we have you at private wine cellar? Wait, there’s more. Luckily for us Canberrans (as well as those dreaming of settling into our lovely capital), there is a Wine, Dine & Design day on Saturday 8 February that will give potential buyers a chance to explore three of the gorgeous apartments in Estate.

Remember what I said about good things coming in threes? Well, these display apartments are no exception. They have all been gorgeously styled by Coco Republic and each one represents a different theme, from relaxed elegance to refined contemporary.
The statement furniture alone is worth a look, including an Anders Chair—one of the most sought-after in the world and valued at an impressive $8000.

The event itself will have a high tea feel, allowing potential residents to get a feel for Estate life. There will be with a jazz band accompanying the afternoon, with delicious nibbles provided by Wildflour Artisan Bakery, Ona Coffee will impress (as always) with their award-winning blends, and there will also be wine and sparkling chosen by none other than Tyson Stelzer himself—so you know it’s going to be fabulous.
As well as this, Coco Republic will be offering four free workshops during the day, including Interior Decoration 101 (11 am), Feng Shui (noon), Current Trends 2020 (1 pm) and Downsizing with Style (2 pm). Places are limited, so please RSVP at estate@addvaldevelopments.com.au to reserve your spot.
If you’re looking to move up and immerse yourself in the heart of what makes Canberra so special, Estate is the place to be. Unique, special, and never to be repeated, these apartments will not be on the market for long.
