Now, these aren’t your traditional Christmas carols and wreath-making sessions. Instead think pop-up markets and galleries, DIY hoodies, and graffiti art lessons all held in the city in partnership between Thorial and ACT City Renewal.
Graffiti Pop Gallery and Live Art
Curious to learn more about graffiti and street art? Graffiti and street artists EDDIE, PAW, and SOROE are a part of this dynamic pop-up art show at Thorial. Discover emerging artists and works which bring elements from the street into a gallery setting and learn more about graffiti by watching artist SOROE paint live outside the space all day. Pick up some affordable art pieces for your home this Christmas period whilst supporting emerging artists!

Graffiti and Street Art Workshop
Young or old, come along to this workshop to dive into a colourful experience where you can learn the history of graffiti and street art as well as try your hand at creating graffiti lettering or street art characters.
Canberra graffiti artist SOROE will be teaching you the basics of graffiti letters and colours; and will be leading a guided tour into Canberra city’s streets to help you explore the rich public art that Canberra has to offer in its many streets and laneways.

DIY Your Own Hoodie
Give back to the community this Christmas when you head along to this DIY workshop to design yourself a hoodie and one for someone in need. Street artists SOROE and PAW will be teaching you how to experiment with paint and brushes, screen-printing, spray paint, and more to create a unique hoodie to take home.
