Australia’s café culture is unmatched – and right here in Canberra, we are particularly passionate about a good brew.
Luckily, with an influx of cafés opening all over the ACT region, there are plenty of places to treat your tastebuds to a cup of the elixir of life.
Whether you like it hot or cold, weak, or strong, from the South to the North, here are 10 new cafés in Canberra that will be sure to impress the biggest of coffee snobs.
Pialligo Bakesmith (Pialligo)
The vibe: French breakfast in the countryside. It’s lush, quiet and perfect for savouring a treat.
The offerings: Delectable, sweet treats and pastries from Natalie Van den Bosch (of Le Bon Mélange Pâtisserie fame), savoury brunch favourites, and Seven Miles Coffee Roasters coffee.

Coffee Collective (Kingston)
The vibe: An uncomplicated café experience (with damn good coffee).
The offerings: Fruit toast from cult favourite Under Bakery, a classic egg salad sambo and what may just be our newest obsession – the Dulce De Leche & Espresso Milkshake. Think: Messina Dulce De Leche with a double shot of Red Brick espresso, Jersey milk, and Jasper & Myrtle gelato.

The vibe: The perfect spot for a casual catch-up with the fam.
The offerings: Serving café classics and cracking good Bean Culture coffee, all the boxes will be ticked, no matter how picky you are.

Mokka Café (Wanniassa)
The vibe: A taste of Italy (but in Erindale).
