Easter sweet treats that aren’t hot cross buns

Posted on

We have officially entered the week of Easter, but if you’re like me and have been consuming hot cross buns for the last month, you might be looking for a different sweet treat to indulge in.

Keeping with the Easter festivities, here are some different Easter-themed treats for you to try on the countdown to the long weekend that aren’t hot cross buns.

Because who can say no to an Easter-themed cocktail? Shaking up three limited edition drinks, Midnight Bar is now home to the Hazel Hop (imagine an alcoholic Tim Tam Slam), the Whitechoco-Tinin (white light vodka, crème de cocoa, ice cream, citric sugar, macadamia nuts, and cream) and the Easter Lily (a sweet, sherbert-y delight with a zesty lemon twist). They’re the things sweet dreams – and drinks – are made of.

Located within the Canberra Centre is a small pop-up of La Belle Miette, a shop dedicated to delicate and delicious macarons.

Here you can grab some special Easter-themed delights with flavours including hot cross bun, speckled Easter egg or nougat. Or you can grab a selection gift box to try some of each!

All orders will be available for collection on Thursday, April 17.
