Dancing Queens and Dining Kings – Templo Theatre’s ABBA Experience is coming!

Templo Theatre – the city’s most indulgent and intimate performance venue – is rolling out its next immersive spectacle, and this time, they’re bringing the disco.

The ABBA Dining Experience arrives next week in a flurry of glitter, glamour and gastronomic delights.

Inspired by the sun-drenched island vibes of Mamma Mia, this unique evening pairs Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with the Swedish pop group’s greatest hits – all while dazzling performers weave through the tables, transforming your meal into a theatrical journey.

Let’s talk about the food (because we know that’s half the reason you’re going). The two-course feast kicks off with a pan-roasted chicken breast nestled atop smoked pumpkin purée, finished with a vibrant corn and chorizo salsa that brings just the right amount of Mediterranean flair. For sweet tooths, the classic crème brûlée promises the perfect finale – light enough that you can still hit the dance floor afterwards.

But we’d be kidding ourselves if we pretended this wasn’t all about the music. From Dancing Queen to Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, every note and beat is designed to transport you straight to a sun-drenched Greek island – minus the airfare and with significantly better acoustics.

The ABBA Dining Experience runs for two nights only (24 and 31 May), with two seatings per evening at 5:30 pm and 8 pm. If previous Templo events are anything to go by, you’ll want to move faster than a Super Trouper to secure your spot – these tickets won’t last long.
