Groundbreaking theatre experience ECHO is coming to Canberra – and you won’t guess who is taking the stage

Making its debut in Canberra from Thursday 24 July, this is ECHO, the latest theatrical marvel from internationally acclaimed playwright Nassim Soleimanpour (White Rabbit, Red Rabbit). And it promises to be an unforgettable experience.
Each performance of ECHO (Every Cold Hearted Oxygen) features a different actor, stepping onto the stage for the first time, with the script waiting in a sealed envelope. There’s no rehearsals and no preparation, so neither the actor nor the audience knows how the story will end.
Following a sensational sold-out debut in London last year that captivated critics and audiences alike, it will be making its way to Canberra as one of only two stops in its Australian run.
And while Emmy-nominated Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), breakout star Jessica Gunning (Baby Reindeer), the pioneering Jodie Whittaker (Doctor Who), and comedic genius Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), have previously taken the stage as part of the performance, we now know who the Canberra cast is.
From beloved Australian author, screenwriter, and journalist, Benjamin Law (The Family Law and Wellmania) to French Australian actress Nathalie Morris (Bump), award winning actor Fayssal Bazzi (Stateless) and actress and singer Paula Arundell (who you might know for her role as Hermonie in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), what they bring to the stage will be completely unique – and something you’ll never see again.
