To celebrate the exciting win, the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council has launched a “Snap and Win” campaign to help share the magic of Bungendore far and wide, inviting people to enter a photo competition that’s as simple as snap, tag, share, and win.
The mission? Head into town, strike a pose with the shiny new ‘Top Tourism Town’ sign for a chance to win $1500 in local vouchers.
But it’s more than a photo opportunity – it’s also the perfect excuse to start planning your next country escape while highlighting the people, experiences, and unique hospitality that make Bungendore a standout in the Canberra region.
Picture this: you’re cruising down the highway, and city stress melts away in your rear-view mirror. In less than an hour, you’re wandering through Bungendore’s unique retail collective The Malbon, before stopping for a long lunch at Lark Hill Winery, and then exploring the Bungendore Fine Arts Gallery.
