Miss Muddy is coming to Canberra!

Thousands of women are preparing to get down and dirty at Exhibition Park in Canberra on Sunday 19 October when Miss Muddy comes to town.
Looking for the ultimate girls day out? Miss Muddy offers up to 5km of mud, obstacles, colour and fun for all fitness levels in a festival atmosphere. Look, I’m no runner, but as soon as I heard ‘colour’ and ‘bubbles’, I said “I’m in!”
Miss Muddy has already attracted huge crowds across Sydney, Brisbane and Townsville with over 2 000 women already registered online for the upcoming Canberra event.
So, what exactly is it? Miss Muddy is a women’s only obstacle and mud festival for women over 18. It includes colour, mud, climbing, crawling, slipping and sliding and lots and lots of laughter. One of Miss Muddy’s signature obstacles is the colour cannon, and after getting down and dirty in the mud pits, you wash away your mud bath in fun and foamy tunnels.
Unlike other obstacle racing events, Miss Muddy is untimed and is more focused on fun, and the non-pressured environment means that if you don’t want to tackle the challenge of a certain obstacle, then you just go around it and head to the next one, no penalties and no judgments.
The focus is on women supporting women and a chance to enjoy plenty of laughs and an overall fun day out with friends, whilst the event also promotes a number of important charities and has donated over $60,000 to charity already this year.
The featured charity for Canberra is Breast Cancer Network Australia, who will have volunteers helping out on the day and will be one of the Miss Muddy charity partners, including McGrath Foundation, Australia Cancer Research Foundation and White Ribbon, who will share in 10% of all online entry fees.
