Brick-tacular! A large-scale LEGO event is coming to Canberra

Consider yourself a LEGO Masters super fan? It’s time to channel your inner Hamish Blake and head along to a brick-tastic large-scale LEGO event coming to Canberra.

That’s right—from jaw-dropping creations to breathtaking creativity, Canberra is hosting its very own brick show on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November.

Featuring the brick-building talent of over a hundred local and interstate creators (who have created mind-blowing LEGO displays for all ages), it’s the perfect chance to nerd out over the magic of LEGO. Don’t believe us?

There will be goodies like one of the largest LEGO Train layouts Canberra has ever seen—with over 100m of track—as well as a huge Vikings display built entirely of LEGO bricks, a LEGO play area for guests to build their own creations, and something called a Great Ball Contraption where thousands of small LEGO balls circulate around dozens of motorized modules (we don’t understand it, but it sounds pretty cool).

But if that isn’t enough to make you want to line up for blocks (sorry), you might even see one or two contestants from the show that built our LEGO obsession to new heights.

Vendors will also be on site with new, used and retired sets available for purchase, along with other merchandise, mini-figures and used parts.

There will also be the chance to enjoy a variety of food and beverages throughout the weekend as well as a ticketed VIP night (for 18+ patrons) that provides exclusive access, selected beer, wine, soft drinks and canapes and LEGO-themed door prizes.

Entry is $12 for the day (with children under the age of three able to enter for free) so make sure to grab a ticket and get ready to be blown away by the builds.
