Where to spend your charity dollars locally this winter

Posted on

Winter is a time where, more than ever, we feel keenly for those lesser off.

This year, after witnessing the influx of people reaching out for help in 2020, why not give a little to a charity or organisation that will provide a warm refuge, some dignity or a little bit of support to Canberra’s vulnerable?

Warm your heart and lend a helping hand with our list of local charities.

ACT PET CRISIS SUPPORT

Sometimes when people face disadvantage, so can their furry, four-legged friends. ACT Pet Crisis Support provides subsidised veterinary care for disadvantaged pet owners in the local region, aiming to avoid euthanasia, surrender and the suffering of beloved family pets.
