Corin Forest is having a Snow Dogs weekend!

Posted on

Dog lovers far and wide and their furry four-legged friends are invited to Corin Forest’s inaugural Snow Dogs on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September, 2017.

For one weekend only, Corin Forest will invite “snowman’s best friends” for the chance to discover the wonders of the snow in Corin Forest’s renowned Snowplay sessions.

By purchasing any Snowplay session on September 9 and 10, guests will be allowed to bring their dogs for free for a dog’s day out to experience the sensation of snow.

“When it comes to snow, dogs might be a bit like us. The snow is exciting to adults and kids alike, so why shouldn’t it be just as exciting for dogs?” said Dane Liepins, owner and managing director of Corin Forest. “Snow changes the sensory characteristics of everything it touches, so it can often renew a dog’s interest in the outdoors.”

“With fresh odours, novel tactile experiences and unusual outlines, what’s not to love?”

Making its debut with the plan to make Snow Dogs an annual event, Corin Forest is expecting to attract crowds of about 400.

Only a 45-minute drive from the heart of Canberra, Corin Forest is an easy, convenient and cost-effective option for Canberrans and their best friends to get amongst the snow.

The cafeteria will be open and guests the chance to warm up by the open fireplace, roast giant marshmallows and enjoy a wide selection of meals, including gourmet wood-fired pizzas.

Session tickets must be purchased online at www.corin.com.au and dogs must wear a leash.
