Dates for Floriade 2022 have been announced—and the theme!

Canberra’s blooming beautiful celebration of spring is back for 2022!
After a challenging couple of years that saw the festival adapt in innovative ways due to Covid restrictions, Floriade will return to Commonwealth Park from 17 September to 16 October.
With a new theme of ‘Sounds of Spring’, which will focus on music including “atmospheric instrumentals, classical and contemporary tunes”, more than one million blooms will be on display during the festival, which also features food, cultural celebrations, workshops, stalls, exhibitions and entertainment.

Naturally, everyone’s fave NightFest will be coming back, with a “revamped” program of after-dark illuminations and entertainment, with the ACT Government hoping to get Floriade back to the pre-pandemic levels of visitation that saw half a million people attend the flower festival.
Time to pull out those calendars, people—the countdown to spring is on!
