Did you know free Christmas concerts are happening across Canberra this week?

Posted on

Yep, that’s right, there are free live Christmas concerts happening across Canberra each night until Friday—and you’re invited!

As part of the HerCanberra Mixmas MIX106.3 Christmas Light Trail—an interactive map of Canberra’s best Christmas lights displays, created by the community, for the community—Wilko and Courts’ Festive Float is back!

Every night this week until Friday, some of Canberra’s most talented musicians like Sophie Edwards, pictured above, will take to Wilko and Courts’ Festive Float to belt out some seasonal tunes and make things merry and bright.

Better yet, this will all take place outside an amazing Christmas lights display in a suburb near you, and everyone is invited! Last year was the first time the Festive Float was rolled out and it was a roaring success, with neighbourhoods coming together to listen to live music in a COVID-safe way and get a little festive in their own suburbs.

Here’s where to find the Festive Float this week. Amazing Christmas lights and free live Christmas tunes? What could be better?
