Posted on

So, you’ve checked out all the latest eateries, seen the newest exhibitions, tried and tested those trending at-home beauty tutorials, and walked up every hill Canberra has to offer?

Well, we’ve got a few out-of-the-box Canberra experiences to get your calendar popping.

Mystery Picnic Dates

Date night reimagined, where your picnic destination is a total mystery, only found by solving clues together. Fun!

You’ll head off on a self-guided quest and arrive at the end with everything taken care of and a basket full of goodies.

You’ve got a few region options on offer, such as south of Lake Burley Griffin, Yass Valley, Braidwood or central Canberra and with picnics tailored to vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets, there’s a little something for everyone with a side of adventure.

Canberra Treasure Hunt

With monthly quests that will see you snapping photos of items and findings across the city, Canberra Treasure Hunt offers a COVID-safe caper like no other, with puzzles to solve and clues to answer.

Best of all, the date of the next Hunt is Saturday 20 March.

Solve the case of The Canberra Ripper

CluedUpp is an exciting new outdoor detective adventure coming to Canberra in July, where you and your mates will scramble across town and use your smartphone to solve clues and crack the case of The Canberra Ripper.

Think you’ve got what it takes to catch a killer? Start anytime between 9 am and 2 pm, with the secret start location to be revealed! One ticket covers a team of six players.

Saturday 3 July 2021 9am – 2pm | $67 | CluedUpp Games

Murder Mystery Party

We’re all used to COVID-safe communication by now, but why not shake things up with a virtual murder mystery party?

You’re sent everything digitally—a set of detailed instructions, question guidelines, and a thorough storyline and character bios for six to 10 players. There are two scenario choices: ‘Wedding Rings and Deadly Things’ and ‘Westcott Manor’.

You can even involve friends and family overseas—it’s virtual, after all! So, what are you waiting for? Grab that magnifying glass and detective’s hat (yes dressing your part is highly encouraged) and solve that crime!
