Show bag delivery giving Canberrans a taste of the show at home

As a lifelong Canberran, I still get tingles when I think of walking into the show bag pavilion at the Royal Canberra Show.
As a child, it seemed like a paradise of endless possibilities—so many choices! How could I possibly decide between the Bratz Bestie Extravaganza and the Girlfriend Magazine haul?
Did I spend $8 on a slightly inferior show bag and leave myself money for another ticket for the dodgem cars or blow it all on an epic $15 bag? Or was it better value to buy four confectionary show bags? The decisions!
I think I spent a solid hour each year pacing before the colourful, brightly lit stalls weighing up the benefits of each bag, much to my parents’ delight (not). Don’t act like you didn’t do the same.
But while this experience has been put on hold for today’s kids with the Royal Canberra Show cancelled due to COVID concerns, one show bag company has decided to think outside the box (or should that be bag?).
