The cost of living crisis is no joke at the moment. Have you tried to buy a block of cheddar cheese recently? Cheesus.
Luckily, one staple has been deemed so necessary, it’s now free. That’s a karaoke room at 88mph on a Thursday night so you can scream your heart out to all your fave 80s classics with your mates—for free.
Naturally, there will also be drink specials from 8 pm (nothing like $6 basics to make you feel like you’re footloose and fancy-free at university once more). And you might very well be forgiven for thinking you’re back at uni.
Why? Because Thursdays at 88mph also means Remix Thursday, where the DJ will be playing hits from the ’90s, ’00s and ’10s so you can spin around their light-up dancefloor to Rihanna, Britney and The Spice Girls to your heart’s content.
