Spellbound (Canberra Theatre Centre)
For lovers of magic and illusion, Anthony Street’s Spellbound, will leave you on the edge of your seat.
On Thursday 15 May, settle in for a night that will push the boundaries of life as you know it, distort the senses and create a world where fantasy and reality collide. From levitations tovanishes, mentalism and death-defying escapes, Spellbound has something for everyone.

Illume (Canberra Theatre Centre)
Bangarra Dance Theatre presents Illume this July – and you’re going to want tickets. An exploration of the way light has captivated and sustained indigenous cultural existence for millennia through music, visual art and dance, from July 25 to 26, revel at the artistry and immerse in the journey of Illume. You’ll learn about the First Nation People’s connection to Sky and Country and their knowledge of skylore through Choreographer Frances Rings and Goolarrgon Bard Visual Artist Darrell Sibosado’s collaboration.

Romeo and Juliet (The Playhouse)
“O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?”. Well, Romeo and Juliet can be found on the Playhouse Theatre stage from August 29 to September 7.
One of Shakespeare most evocative tragedies is coming to Canberra, and you won’t want to miss out. Receiving five-star ratings from Sydney Arts Guide, Time Out Sydney, Time Out Melbourne, Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, book ahead to feast your eyes on the greatest love story ever told.

Duck Pond (The Playhouse)
The Contemporary Circus Company is bringing you a reimagining of Swan Lake and The Ugly Duckling, but with cheeky humour!
As one of the companies most ambitious works, expect aerials, jaw-dropping stunts and plenty of feathers. From September 18 to 20, witness the world of ballet, circus, film and theatre combine to create an acrobatic spectacular.

The Play That Goes Wrong (The Playhouse)
The longest running comedy in London is coming to Canberra for its 10th anniversary tour from October 29 to November 2.
As a hybrid blend of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes, complete with an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines), expect to leave crying of laughter.
