Wait a meow-ment! Cat enthusiasts will be in hiss-terics for the latest film festival clawing its way to the nation’s capital.
CATVIDEOFEST 2024 is coming to Dendy Cinemas in Canberra fur two limited screenings on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September. And it sounds like the puuurrfect way to spend an evening.
The 75-minute showcase is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. So basically, it’s our Instagram For You Page.
US Director Will Braden spends a third of his year collecting the clips, and getting clearance for content creators to include in the final compilation, and has so far donated over 30 thousand dollars to animal shelters.
The film is described as a joyous communal experience, after a sell-out tour across the U.S and Europe. We’re sure it’ll be sold out in no time here in Oz.
So gather your fellow feline enthusiasts for an unfurgettable experience, and give your brain a break with the purrfect distraction of a bunch of unexpected and entertaining reels that’ll make you laugh out loud.
And yes, we’ll probably be there.
