Get out ya legwarmers, this 80s live tribute night wants you to dance like it’s 1989
Posted on
It was the era of Flashdance, Wham!, Madonna and The Police.
In short, the 80s was one of the biggest decades for exceptional (and danceable) music we’ve ever had – and now there’s a tribute night where you can dance the night away to all these hits and more.
Back to the 80’s: A Tribute Concert isn’t just about paying homage to this decade of colour and change, but transporting you back to a neon-lit dancefloor in time, where legwarmers were all the rage, the hair was high and the hopes were higher.
Across the evening, a live band will play the greatest hits of the decade, fully synchronised to the music videos themselves! Better yet, dancing is more than encouraged, which means you’ll be living your best 80s life in your very own technicolour MTV world.
You might not have a Delorean to let you travel back in time, but this is the next best thing.
Doors will open at 7.30 pm, with the band kicking off at 8 pm. With tickets just $35 plus booking fee for members and their invited guests, there’s never been a better time to become a member of Canberra Labor Club (leg warmers and scrunchie not included).
Ready for the raddest night since New Year’s Eve 1999? Snap up your tickets here.
