Are you new(ish) to Canberra? We want to pick your brain.

One of the reasons I started HerCanberra back in 2011 was because I knew – from personal experience – how hard it could be to move to Canberra and make new connections.
As a country girl, my only experience in Canberra had been the three years I spent living in university residences, which came with an inbuilt social network – so when I moved back after five years away it was really challenging to find my feet in a rapidly evolving city and an unfamiliar environment.
I wanted HerCanberra to be a place where people could connect with their city – and each other – and make it easier to find a sense of belonging. We’re serious about publishing stories that uncover Canberra’s soul – whether that’s helping people find their tribe, or a new local, or just navigate this fair city (and all of her quirks). Emma Macdonald even wrote an epic New To Canberra guide.
But we want to go even deeper. If you’re new(ish) to Canberra – let’s say you’ve moved here in the last five-to-10 years or so – we would love to ask you a few questions to help us produce content that will help other Canberra newbies feel at home faster.
