The PAW Patrol pups are coming to Marketplace Gungahlin, along with a whole bunch of other activities for kids throughout the school holidays.
Somehow, the school holidays are just around the corner again. (We can’t believe it either.) If you’re looking for free activities to get the kids out of the house this spring, Marketplace Gungahlin should be top of your list of destinations.
Thanks to the PAW Patrol pups, your little ones can take an exciting trip to Adventure Bay on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September.
Beloved rescue dogs Marshall, Chase and their leader Ryder will kick off the holiday celebrations with shows at 10 am and 12 am, plus a meet and greet session at 11 am on both Saturday and Sunday.
The show will be interactive, with kids getting the chance to become PAW Patrol Trainees and join Ryder, Chase and Marshall as they answer Mayor Goodway’s call for help to save the Adventure Bay Talent Show.
Ryder and the Pups will teach their fans the moves to the Pup, Pup Boogie and take them on a wild ride to complete the mission successfully. The PAW Patrol shows are specifically aimed at children six and under but can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Marketplace Gungahlin is also running lots more free activities and workshops throughout the school holidays. There’ll be mindfulness, sensory and skill-based play every week day from 30 September – 12 October, excluding the Labour Day public holiday.
During each week, there will be different craft and circus activities happening Monday to Friday from 10.30 am—1.30 pm, including a dragonfly bug pots craft activity, pinwheel making, spring bouquet making, a mini circus skills workshop, and wooden spinning top decorating. All the action will take place at the activities hub outside Big W.
Marketplace Gungahlin is easy to reach via light rail and there’s plenty of parking if you’re planning on taking the car. The dining options are endless with Japanese, American, Vietnamese, Italian, Chinese, Mexican and Turkish options, on top of outlets like Oporto and Subway..
Plus, the nearby Kmart, Big W and Woolworths mean you might even be able to get the weekly shop done while you’re there. Check out the website for more information about all the school holiday fun.
